Referral Program Terms and Conditions
The full terms that apply to the HP Energy Referral Program.
- 1. What This Program Is
The HP Energy Referral Program lets you (“Referrer”) tell a friend, family member, or colleague (“Referred Person”) about HP Energy’s products and services. If your referral leads to a sale (see Section 3), you get a $200 gift card as a reward. - 2. Who Can Join
2.1 You must be 18 or older and live in Australia to be a Referrer.
2.2 The person you refer can join the Program whether or not they’re already an HP Energy customer, and even if they’ve asked HP Energy for a quote before.
2.3 You can’t refer yourself. The Referred Person must be someone else.
2.4 HP Energy staff, contractors, and their close family (spouse, parent, child, or sibling) can’t take part in this Program.
2.5 You must get the other person’s okay before giving HP Energy their details. Sharing someone’s info without asking them first breaks these rules. - 3. How It Works
3.1 Send in the person’s details using the official referral form, or message HP Energy’s official Facebook/Instagram pages directly.
3.2 HP Energy will reach out to that person to talk about what they need.
3.3 Your referral counts as a “win” — and earns the reward — once that person signs a contract with HP Energy and the product or service is installed.
3.4 A referral only counts once HP Energy has your name and contact info, the other person’s name and contact info, and confirmation that they agreed to be contacted.
3.5 A referral stays active for 12 months after it’s logged. If it doesn’t turn into a sale within that time, it expires.
3.6 If two people refer the same person, only whoever sent it in first gets the reward. - 4. The Reward
4.1 Each successful referral earns you one $200 gift card.
4.2 There’s no limit — refer as many people as you like and get rewarded for every successful one.
4.3 Gift cards are sent within 3–5 business days after the referral counts as a win.
4.4 You’ll get the gift card digitally (by email).
4.5 Gift cards can’t be swapped for cash or given to someone else, and follow the gift card provider’s own rules, including how long it’s valid for.
4.6 You only get paid once per successful referral. Copy-paste or fake entries won’t be rewarded. - 5. How Long the Program Runs
5.1 The Program starts in September 2026 and keeps going until HP Energy says otherwise.
5.2 HP Energy can change, pause, or end the Program at any time, including changing the reward amount or who can join. This won’t affect referrals already confirmed as successful before any change. - 6. Cheating and Misuse
6.1 HP Energy can withhold or take back a reward, and stop someone from taking part, if it believes a referral was faked, sent without the other person’s okay, or otherwise broke these rules.
6.2 If you disagree with a decision, you can ask HP Energy to look at it again using the contact details in Section 11. Whatever HP Energy decides after that is final. - 7. Privacy
7.1 Any personal info collected through the form or social media (for both you and the person you refer) is handled under HP Energy’s Privacy Policy.
7.2 By sending a referral, you’re confirming you told the other person their info is being shared with HP Energy, and that HP Energy may contact them directly. - 8. Tax
8.1 Any tax on the reward is your responsibility. HP Energy doesn’t provide tax advice on this. - 9. Liability
9.1 As far as the law allows, HP Energy isn’t responsible for any loss or problem related to joining the Program, including issues with delivering or using the gift card.
9.2 Nothing here removes any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law that can’t be taken away. - 10. General Rules
10.1 These terms follow Australian law.
10.2 HP Energy can update these terms at any time by posting the new version here.
