Go Solar Now, Pay Over Time
You do not need to pay for your energy upgrade all at once. HP Energy works with a panel of trusted Australian finance providers, with options for homeowners, non-homeowners and businesses, so you can spread the cost of solar, batteries and other energy upgrades into manageable repayments.
Our most popular finance partners
Start saving from day one
Upfront cost is the most common reason people put off going solar. Finance changes that. Instead of waiting years to save $10,000 or more, you can install now and compare your monthly repayment with the drop in your power bill.
Our most-used providers connect directly with the quoting platform we use, so your quote and your finance can be sorted out together. Every rebate and incentive you qualify for is applied first, so you only finance what is left.
How finance makes going solar easier
No big upfront cost
$0-deposit options let you start saving straight away instead of waiting until you have the full amount.
Savings help with repayments
Lower power bills can help offset your repayments, so your system starts paying its way from the day it is switched on.
A better system
Spreading the cost makes it easier to add a battery or size your system to your real needs rather than settle for the cheapest option.
Options for everyone
Homeowners, people who do not own their home and businesses can all find a finance option on our panel.

Finance questions, answered
QCan I still get rebates if I use finance?
Yes. Government rebates and incentives are applied to your quote first, so you only finance the remaining balance.
QDoes a zero-interest plan cost anything?
Zero-interest plans do not charge interest, but they do carry fees, such as account fees or a flat monthly fee. Check the provider's fees and terms so you know the total cost before you sign.
QI do not own my home. Can I still get finance?
Most zero-interest plans and green loans are for homeowners. A personal loan, such as one arranged through Buddii Finance, does not depend on owning your home.
QIs finance available for businesses?
Yes. Smart Ease offers $0 upfront commercial finance, and we also work with commercial brokers who can arrange solar as equipment or asset finance. Ask our team which option suits your business.
QWho approves my finance application?
Your application is assessed and approved by the finance provider, not HP Energy. Each provider has its own lending criteria, fees and terms, and credit checks apply.
QCan I pay off my loan early?
Many of our partners, including Brighte's Green Loan and Plenti's zero-interest plan, usually allow early repayment without a penalty. Conditions vary, so check the terms of your plan.

T&Cs, fees and eligibility criteria apply. HP Energy is not a credit provider and does not provide financial advice. All finance is provided by third-party lenders and brokers and is subject to their own approval and lending criteria. Zero-interest plans may include account or monthly fees. Loan amounts and terms are a guide only and may change; check current details with the provider. Compare your options and read the provider's terms before applying.
